Hesham Hassanein is an American freelance writer from Washington, DC.
An avid Liverpool supporter. He first fell in love with football on a trip to Egypt in high school. Having played club football and basketball throughout high school, he fell in love with Liverpool while watching the games with his brother. Today Hesham and his brother watch the games together, and his passions include football, writing, and watching Japanese Anime.
On a weekend he can be found yelling at the Liverpool game with his family and cats.
His favorite Liverpool players of all time are Luis Suarez and Mohammed Salah, and his favorite Liverpool moments are the Divock Origi last second goal against Everton, Liverpool’s 5-0 win at White Heart Lane in 2013, The 4-3 win against Man City in 2018 and of course, beating Man City 2-1 in the Champions League, and of course the Champions League final in 2019.
