#TripstoLiverpool

In my time contributing at AmericanScouser.com, I would say the #1 thing we are asked about is where a US-based supporter can catch a match with other Liverpool fans. Whether you are new to supporting the club, new to an area, or simply traveling, our followers were constantly looking for suggestions to watch their beloved Reds with other Reds! This was where the idea for our interactive supporter’s map was born. One of our key goals is to help supporters feel more connected to each other and the club. This isn’t always easy from an ocean away.

What is the second most common question we get? Do you know how I can get tickets to a match at Anfield? Until now our standard response was, there are many options, from securing tickets through your local OLSC, buying directly from the Club, or looking for third-party hospitality ticket options. It was difficult as we didn’t have a trusted partner that we knew would take great care of our followers looking for their help. That was until now! AmericanScouser.com is happy to announce that we will be recommending and helping to announce Ken Solomon’s #TripsToLiverpool! These experiences will be offered through Quest Sports Travel moving forward. We plan to work together to keep North American supporters informed about trips, special events, and ways to stay connected to Liverpool FC and the city.

The Men Behind The Venture

Ken & Ross at Anfield

Ken and his son Ross have been coordinating amazing tour packages to Liverpool for years now. They do an amazing job setting up unique experiences that encompass everything about the club. The feedback we have received from those lucky enough to take part in their tours has been great. Even some of our own contributors have made multiple trips across the pond. Links to two of their upcoming tours are below. All packages come with hotel accommodations, and multiple private tours, including one of Anfield. Transportation to and/or from the airport is handled as well. Matchday tickets are just one part of the show. Bonuses include tour dinners, meet and greets with ex-players, pre-match meals, etc.

Testimonials

Hunting Wolves in Liverpool

View from Seth’s Seat

“My wife and I went with Ken to the last game of the 2021-2022 season. We had 4th-row seats next to the Kop and celebrated Mo’s goal with him only a few feet from us. The final results for the season didn’t go our way that day but the journey to Anfield was absolutely magical. Through years and years of running his tour, Ken and his team have put together a memorable trip all LFC fans should experience. We had a guided tour of the city from a football perspective one day, another day was a Beatles-focused tour of historical landmarks, we had dinners together, sang karaoke, and met new friends I still keep in touch with. Other than the game itself, the best part of the trip was getting access to landmarks and wonderful locals around the city through connections Ken has made all the times he’s been there. This trip was far more than just watching a sports event, it was a well-rounded complete-package pilgrimage to the holy land with expert guides, local tradition, and spiritual immersion. 5 stars, and we will go again soon.” Seth Gewirtz

Why do I keep going back?

I always get asked why I keep going back to Liverpool and it is because of the people. Yes, the football is an unreal experience but I’ve met some of the most amazing people that will be friends for a lifetime. So far just about everyone I have encountered in that city treated me like I’ve lived there all my life and that is rare to find. I came for the football but fell in love with the people.Megan Wyatt

American Scouser will be your source for future Trips to Liverpool. Ken and his team at Quest Sports will be announcing their Spring schedule in the coming weeks. Early reports suggest that these will include the highly sought-after Manchester United, Everton, Champions League matches as well as the coveted last home match of the season. Let’s hope there is as much on the line as there was last year!

Stay tuned and YNWA!
