After a slow start to the season, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal come to Anfield off of an 8 match unbeaten run in the Premier League. Liverpool come into the match in a bit of a slump, winless in their last two. Arsenal will be expected to sit back, allowing the Reds to have possession. Liverpool in recent weeks have looked vulnerable at the back, something the Gunners will hope to exploit on the counter.

While Arsenal have been in good form, their results have come against relatively manageable opponents. Liverpool pose a real challenge to any team, and will be a true test to the young Arsenal side.
