Liverpool vs Arsenal Preview

Good Day fellow Reds!!! This Saturday at 12:30 ET, the Mighty Reds welcome Arsenal to the Fortress that is Anfield! Liverpool look to set the club record for consecutive match wins. One more puts them at twelve which would be the record. Arsenal come in with some momentum after taking six out of six points and currently sit tied atop of the table with LFC. However, they haven’t won there since 2012. Enjoy the view while you have it lads. It will be quite a warm afternoon, with an abundance of sunshine and temperatures damn near close to 80 degrees. The match can be seen on NBC here in the states.

Injuries

First and foremost for Liverpool is the condition of Alisson’s calf. John Achtererg (LFC’s GK coach) came out and said that while Alisson is making progress everyday, that “They haven’t given us a specific time he’ll be out as it’s difficult to say how quickly it will heal. That’s all with the medics. There’s an international break coming up and we’ll have to wait and see how long it takes after that.” So there’s that.

Dejan Lovern comes back into training after an illness saw him sit out during the ending of the transfer window…I mean first two matches of the season. Sorry, Freudian slip there. Naby is still out with an undisclosed muscle injury. It seems now more than ever that it stems from his time away on international duty this summer. News broke this week that the Guinea coach was fined, fired, and given a lifetime ban after it was proven that he knowingly played injured players. True Gobshite there.

For the Gunners, the list is far more reaching. Mesmut Ozil had’t come back from holiday aboard the mother-ship in time, and is lacking “match fitness”. He is a slight doubt for the match. Hector Bellerin is out with a knee injury. Konstantinos Mavropanosnis out with a groin, as is Kieran Tiereny. Grant Xhaka is a doubt due to a bruised back. Sokratis is playing. He was taken for a brain scan after he was quoted saying that Burnley is tougher to defend against than Liverpool. Look for him to miss the next few matches with whiplash after watching our front three blow the doors off him for ninety minutes. Oh, and the brain scan came back negative.

Previous From

Liverpool are in first place having took six out of six points. W(Norwich City 4-1). W (So’Ton 2-1)

The Gooners are also in first after they gathered six points from a possible six. W(Newcastle 1-0). W(Burnley 2-1).

Lineup and Predictions

Between the sticks for the Six-Time Champions of Europe will be Adrian. Robbo on the left of them, Trent is on the right, and the CBs Virgil and Matip are stuck in the middle with them.  For the Mid-field, I think Hendo returns to the starting XI. Partnering him will be Fabinho, and the Newly re-signed; Ox-Man aahhhAHHH( sorry, it just goes with DAYMAN from its always sunny…maybe it could be his song. You’ll thank me when you’re singing it Saturday). Up front is the trio that make up the best attacking front three in all of football. Sadio, Mo, and Bobby. Since Sadio seems to own these guys, lets give the MOTM to him.

The troubles will continue for Arsenal at Anfield and the score ends up 3-0. Each of the front three end up with a goal. And yo Sokratis… WHATCHU GONNA DO BROTHER, WHEN THE FRONT THREE, JURGEN KLOPP, THE KOP AND THE GEGENPRESS RUNS WILD ON YOU????

Lets stay on our fecking perch guys!
