Wednesday at 3pm EST Liverpool F.C. welcome to Watford to what is sure to be a tense environment at Anfield. Watford come with a total of 40 points, which is good enough for 7th place in the Table. That leaves them 12 points out of Europe, but 16 clear of relegation. The Reds are a point clear of the table with 66 points and even in games with Abu Dhabi F.C.. Rain and snow is in the forecast with temps around 40 degrees. Unfortunately, it appears that this match is only available on NBCsports Gold.

Injury News

Naby is listed as probable with an illness. Of course, after being dropped and that display from the team on Sunday, I would probably be ill as well. Bobby’s injury is less severe than first thought, although his ankle will more than likely see him on the bench, with a return for the Derby on Sunday. Lovern continues to struggle with him hamstring and is ruled out. Ox and Gomez continue to improve.

Watford are in better shape. Isaac Success and Sebastian Prodl are both listed as day to day.

Previous Form

Liverpool are coming off a blase, if unbeaten, previous five league matches. They are D(0-0 SCUM). W(3-0 Bournmouth). D(1-1 WHU). D(1-1 LEI). W(4-3 CP).

Watford’s Previous five matches are as follows: W(5-1 Cardiff). W(1-0 Eve). L(1-2 Tottenham). D(0-0 Burnley). W(2-1 CP)

Lineup and Score Predictions

Alisson will of course be in goal for the Reds. Trent should be back at RB with Robbo as his counterpart as the other Fullback. Big Virgil and Joel Matip make up the center pairing. I look for the midfield to consist of Fabinho, Gini, and Keita. I think at this point in the season Gini and Fab should be locks to start every match. That leaves only one space for Shaq, Keita, Milly and Hendo. I think Klopp maybe uses this match to sit “Backwards Jordan” for his tantrum he threw after being subbed off on the weekend. I look for it be Mo and Mane as the outside options upfront, with Origi inserted in Bobby’s Place. There is no need to risk him tomorrow.  The score will be 2-0 Reds. Look for Naby to pick up his first goal and MOTM. Up The Reds!!
